It's for adults and seniors who want to stay in their own homes but need a steady, respectful hand with daily routines. Caregivers can also help with meals and light housekeeping during visits.

Companion care is support and company rather than hands-on care: conversation, meals, errands, light housekeeping, and a consistent friendly presence. It's a good fit for seniors who are mostly independent but spend too much time alone, and it gives out-of-town family peace of mind that someone dependable is checking in.

Yes. Caring for someone with Alzheimer's or dementia takes patience, understanding, and consistency. Our caregivers are experienced in supporting people with memory-related conditions. Yes. One on One Care serves Medicaid CCC Plus waiver clients throughout our Virginia service area, and we've helped many families work through the process. Companion care and personal care are $31 per hour, specialized care is $36 per hour, and live-in care for one person is $425 per day. Rates are the same in every community we serve. In most cases, yes — long-term care insurance policies commonly cover non-medical personal care like ours.
