Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

One on One Care ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at myoneononecare.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website only; information collected during the delivery of care services is governed by our client agreements and applicable healthcare privacy laws.

Information we collect

When you fill out a form on our website — such as a care consultation request, a referral, or an employment application request — we collect the information you provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, city and zip code, the type of care you are interested in, and any details you choose to share about your care needs or the person receiving care.

Like most websites, our hosting providers also automatically receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, which is used for security and to keep the site running reliably.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, match families with caregivers, process referrals, send employment applications to interested applicants, schedule consultations, and communicate with you about our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from One on One Care at the phone number you provided, related to your inquiry and our services. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or employment.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How your information is shared

We share information only with the service providers who help us operate our website and business — such as our website hosting provider (Vercel), our email delivery provider, and our secure form provider (Cognito Forms, used for employment applications). These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Health information

Details you share on our website forms about care needs help us prepare for a conversation with you, but please avoid submitting sensitive medical details through the website. Once you become a client, health information is collected and protected in accordance with our client agreements and applicable law, including confidentiality requirements that apply to licensed home care organizations in Virginia.

Data retention and security

Form submissions are stored securely and retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) — to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

Your choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete your information. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP and out of emails by using the unsubscribe option or contacting us directly.

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Meaningful changes will be posted on this page.
